I’m a poet, freelance writer and a yoga teacher.

I teach group classes in downtown Jersey City; corporate yoga/mindfulness classes (in NYC and JC), and chair yoga classes at HOPES Community Action (public housing). I wrote regular features for YogaCityNYC, including the Reflections of Master Teachers bi-weekly series, which I developed for the site. I currently write for Yoga International and OM Magazine. 

My poetry has appeared in many journals, including Five Points, Gargoyle, and The Satirist and my chapbook, Fairview Road was published in February 2015. I’ve been nominated for the Pushcart Prize twice.

*Benefits of chair yoga:
For those with disabilities, weight challenges, inflexibility, or who cannot get on the floor for whatever reason (such as age or being in a crowded work environment) – you can benefit from a daily practice of yoga on a chair in the comfort of your home or office.  The chair replaces the yoga mat and becomes an extension of your body allowing you to take full advantage of yoga’s amazing fitness and health potential.  Even if you are in a wheelchair, you can receive the many benefits of chair yoga–the integration of body, mind, and spirit that keeps the yoga practitioner at the top of their game.
