Klyon-1

Kathleen’s teaching style is grounded in both wisdom and compassion. Through group classes and individual yoga therapy sessions, she has helped me reclaim a sense of openness and possibility. Her gentle guidance always brings me back to center.

YOGA THERAPY is an integrated approach to well-being that blends the ancient wisdom of yoga with contemporary mindbody techniques. Through gentle movement or yoga poses, breath work, meditation, and relaxation, yoga therapy can help to manage stress, alleviate pain, improve flexibility, and enhance your sense of well-being.

Yoga therapy can be used as a complementary therapy for a wide range of health conditions, including stress-related conditions, chronic pain, cardiovascular imbalances, insomnia, anxiety, depression and more. It can also support those seeking to manage lifestyle-related conditions.

My aim is to empower clients to care for themselves using mind-body practices and lifestyle changes.

YOGA NIDRA

I have a deep and abiding love of yoga nidra, a therapeutic yoga practice. Yogic sleep, as it is commonly known, helped me embrace my life with more awareness, self-actualize, and  align more readily with my sense of purpose. It’s an accessible meditation practice that is easy to cultivate and maintain. While the practitioner rests comfortably in reclined or seated position, this relaxation technique explores the five layers of self (also known as the koshas), leaving you feeling  integrated and restored.

I hold monthly donation-based yoga nidra workshops online, which will begin again in 2025.
